School Transport
Transport services are available for the convenience of the students / parents. Parents seeking transport facility are hereby advised to contact the concerned transport contractor during school hours.

To facilitate the students according to their requirement, the system of inter campus transfer facility has been introduced in our following campuses:

Parents’ – Teacher’s Meetings
The PTMs are arranged for the improvement of facilities and welfare of students and to initiate community involvements in academic activities and to improve the quality of education. Attending these meetings is mandatory for all parents. These meetings will be arranged in all campuses of Dhaka Secondary School as per the below mentioned schedule:
• Meeting no. 1 – August 2019
• Meeting no. 2 – December 2019
• Meeting no. 3 – March 2020

Schedule for Assessment
Regarding examination system it must be mentioned here that our examination system will consist of three terms:
• First term examination
• Second term examination
• Final term examination

Besides this, for the purpose of evaluating pupil’s academic progress during the course of the year, the school has adopted the following assessment methods:
• Class test / Assessments
• Several quick revision tests



For Students of IX / X Appearing Through Board of Secondary Education, Karachi:
The course of class IX & X will be completed by the month of January 2020. Grand tests and preliminary examinations will be held in the month of February and March 2020.

Oral Examination
English, Urdu poetry and Islamic / Quranic verses have been added to the syllabus aiming to develop and augment the memorizing capability of students as well as to impart them to practice of perfect pronunciations and to introduce them to the poetic values and appreciation of literary work. Mental mathematics has also been added to the oral examination to develop concept building capabilities in our young budding minds. Every year in the first / second / third examination the oral examination will be conducted separately. It is obligatory for all the students to take and pass the oral examination.

Extra Curricular Activities
A student is the pioneer of all activities in all fields of life. Therefore, in order to obtain this vital target our students should not only be kept inside class rooms for the knowledge of the syllabus but we consider it our utmost responsibility to bring out the creativity out of every student. For the fulfillment of this purpose debate competition, milad and art exhibition are regularly held within the school premises.

Fee Payment
The monthly fee is payable in advance by the 10th of every month. Failing to which a fine of Rs. 200 will be charged until the voucher has expired. Once the voucher has expired, an additional penalty of Rs. 100 will be added. Upon nonpayment of any tuition fee, three written reminders will be sent to parents after which the name of the child will be struck off the school register without any prior intimation.

Meeting Time with the Principal
Please note that the meeting time with the principal is 10 am to 12 noon (Monday to Thursday). Any parents coming to school before or after the said timings shall not be entertained in this regard. We expect full cooperation from all parents/guardians as these steps are only being taken keeping in view the current security situation of educational institutions in the country and for the absolute well being of your child. Moreover, when coming to visit the school, please do not forget to bring your original CNIC as you will be asked to deposit it at the main gate which you may take it upon leaving the school premises.
